Close to Mill Cottage enjoy walking any of the above routes or by the Quoile Pondage Bird Sanctuary, stopping off at the Countryside Centre, or follow part of the Ulster Way, the famous circular path, now largely way marked, 560 miles long and running all round Northern Ireland through areas of outstanding natural beauty. The St. Patrick's Way offers breathtaking views of the verdant Lecale countryside across to Strangford Lough and beyond.
