Steeped in the history of Mill Village Tobermoney, in the heartlands of St Patrick's country, Mill cottage and the Miller's Barn are distinctive and luxurious holiday destinations. The 350 year old stone cottages with secluded gardens, are unique in their peaceful atmosphere.

You have a choice of two 5 star standard stone cottages: Mill Cottage or Miller's Barn. The cottages were sensitively restored in 2004 and 2007 respectively, using traditional workmanship and materials. Their unique, quaint and interesting features have been retained and the adjacent mill gable, mill ramp and kiln have also been restored. The cottages are beautifully furnished. Both cottages have been traditionally restored with pitch pine and Guinness brewery flooring (from St James Gate Dublin), stone flags, exposed stonework, granite worktops, original beams and Georgian sash windows

Mill Cottage was sensitively restored in 2004 and is very spacious with a cosy kitchen range, open fireplace and large colourful cottage garden and can sleep 5 people.

The scullery in Mill Cottage dates back to 1650 and built from local field stone has tremendous character. It is lit by original brass lamp fittings as used on the White Star liners and railway coaches reminiscent of the Titanic era.

Miller's Barn is a delightful two storey romantic retreat featuring a 370 year old brick chimney breast, wood burning stove and panoramic views of beautiful drumlin countryside and can sleep 4 people.

It was beautifully restored in 2007 under the careful instruction of architect Marcus Paton OBE of Hearth housing along with the team of local builders under the direction of Mr Alfie Malcolmson. Miller’s barn is one of the only two storey vernacular cottages in the district and affords magnificent views of the rolling drumlin countryside which surrounds it in the heart of St. Patrick’s country.
